At FineCraft, we take pride in the craftsmanship and care we bring to every project—whether it’s a custom home, a historic remodel, or a beloved neighborhood restaurant. Our latest commercial renovation was completed just in time to kick off Cinco de Mayo celebrations at one of the community’s favorite destinations: Señor Tequila’s.
Working closely with Ratcliffe Architects, we restored and reimagined the bar and dining space of this well-known Mexican restaurant, known for its vibrant décor, signature margaritas, and festive ambiance. The goal was simple but meaningful: improve the flow, function, and atmosphere while honoring the space’s unique personality.
A Bold, Functional Refresh
The renovation focused on the bar area—updating both the aesthetics and the utility behind the scenes. Our scope of work included:
-
Custom shelving and cabinetry behind the bar and along the side wall
-
New countertops and upgraded finishes to modernize the look
-
A stylish new footrail for customer comfort
-
LED strip lighting to bring warmth and vibrancy to the space
-
New power outlets and an improved layout to support equipment and staff
-
A custom-designed LED-lit panel, made of wood and plexiglass, to serve as a modern focal point
To tie everything together, the dining area received a fresh coat of paint on the walls and ceiling, reviving the entire space with renewed energy.
Designed to Celebrate
Ratcliffe Architects developed the conceptual design in close collaboration with the restaurant owners and owner’s rep, ensuring every detail aligned with Señor Tequila’s vibrant character.
“Señor Tequila’s is dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences, and this bar renovation helped to refine that vision,” said Ashley Roe, AIA, LEED AP, Associate Principal at Ratcliffe Architects. “Our team developed conceptual designs for a space that is bursting with energy and atmosphere. LED shelving panels illuminate and flash in harmony with the lively space, while the Mexican Sacred Heart stands as a striking centerpiece, immersing guests in a rich celebration of culture and creativity.”
Just in Time for Cinco de Mayo
We were proud to complete the renovation in time for Cinco de Mayo 2025, allowing Señor Tequila’s to welcome guests to a refreshed, re-energized space during one of the busiest and most festive times of the year.
This project reflects what we value most—collaboration, quality, and bringing our clients’ visions to life. We’re grateful to work with creative partners like Ratcliffe Architects and local businesses that bring so much color and joy to the community.
