FineCraft Contractors is proud to be featured in Home & Design Magazine for our collaboration with designer Marika Meyer on the transformation of a 1949 Colonial in Somerset, Maryland. The project reimagined a home with great bones but disjointed past additions — most notably turning an awkward, outdated kitchen into a light-filled, conservatory-inspired space that connects seamlessly to the outdoors.
Working alongside architect Peter Miles, the renovation improved flow, functionality, and architectural cohesion throughout the main level, while Meyer's signature blend of timeless furnishings and fresh, personal details brought warmth and character to the interiors. The result is a thoughtfully updated home that honors tradition while embracing modern family living.
Washington, D.C.
This completed home addition and interior remodel in Washington, D.C. represents the full breadth of what FineCraft Contractors delivers — a seamless integration of refined design, superior materials, and impeccable execution. The project expanded the home's footprint with a thoughtfully designed addition that blends seamlessly with the existing structure, while a comprehensive interior refresh touched every room.
Every space was reimagined to reflect the homeowners' lifestyle while honoring the architectural character of the original structure. Designed in collaboration with architect POM Studio Architects, from the first structural decisions to the final finishes, every detail was made with intentionality and precision — and the results speak for themselves.

Successful Open House Showcase
FineCraft Florida recently hosted a well-attended open house project showcase, offering guests an inside look at a completed full-home interior renovation. Homeowners, prospects, and industry partners were welcomed into a thoughtfully reimagined residence — once dated, now transformed into a modern, functional living space — and had the opportunity to walk through the home firsthand.
A central feature of the event was FineCraft's project breakdown display, which outlined each major component alongside approximate costs. This encouraged open dialogue and helped attendees better understand how design decisions align with investment.
