The Heart of the Home: A Kitchen Reimagined
The original kitchen was a relic of the past—closed off and cluttered with cabinetry that had seen better days. We began by stripping away the old, cramped finishes to find more breathing room.
By amplifying the footprint of the kitchen, we were able to introduce a breathtaking marble-topped center island. This isn’t just a workspace; it’s a centerpiece for morning coffee and evening conversations. To ensure this beauty lasts a lifetime, we replaced the dated units with our FineCraft signature long-lasting cabinetry, finished in a timeless palette that brightens the entire wing of the house.

Seamless Transitions and New Horizons
One of the most rewarding parts of this renovation was finding value in the “small spaces.” By rethinking the flow of the home and updating the flooring to a rich, contemporary hardwood, the house now feels twice its original size.
However, the true “wow” factor lies just beyond the back door. Previously, the home lacked a dedicated outdoor living area. We designed and constructed a custom elevated deck, complete with premium all-weather deck paneling.
Now, the homeowners don’t have to wait for a perfect summer day to enjoy the fresh air. Whether it’s a bright spring morning or a rainy DC afternoon, the new covered structure provides a dry, stylish retreat for outdoor dining and relaxation.
