At FineCraft Contractors, we don’t just talk about quality and service—we live it. So when a custom cabinet delivery from Florida was suddenly delayed by a full week due to severe weather disruptions, we didn’t sit back. We stepped up.
The warehouse housing our FineCraft Custom Cabinets had been impacted by two recent hurricanes that passed through Florida. Understandably, operations slowed—but we knew our client in Washington, DC was counting on us to keep the project moving. Waiting another week wasn’t an option.
To avoid further delays, we flew a FineCraft representative to Florida the very next day, rented a 26-foot U-Haul truck, personally loaded the cabinets, and drove the 1,000 miles back to DC. At 2 a.m., the cabinets arrived—ready for delivery and installation without missing a beat.
It would have been easier to accept the setback. But that’s not who we are.
At FineCraft, we know that construction is about more than craftsmanship—it’s about trust. Our clients rely on us to honor timelines, communicate clearly, and deliver on our word. That’s why we go the extra mile—or a thousand—when the situation calls for it.
From navigating weather-related delays to coordinating cross-country logistics, it’s all part of the FineCraft difference: a commitment to excellence, reliability, and putting clients first.
Thank you to U-Haul for providing a brand-new truck and outstanding customer service to help make this delivery possible.
And to our client: your cabinets are here— as promised.
