FineCraft Contractors is collaborating with Cawood Architecture, PLLC to construct a rear addition and interior remodel for a single-family home in Montgomery County, MD. The project adds approximately 613 sq. ft. of conditioned living space, featuring four roof skylights and a dramatic window wall that fills the family room with natural light. In total, ~776 sq. ft. of existing space is being reconfigured to create a more open, functional layout.
The renovation scope includes a refreshed kitchen with pantry and custom built-ins, a dedicated wine room, and upgraded finishes that connect seamlessly with the existing interiors. Mechanical improvements include a ducted mini-split HVAC system with multi-zone controls, smart lighting upgrades, and new electrical service throughout. The plans also allow for outdoor living enhancements, such as a fiberglass pergola and hot-tub-ready patio.
